Pulverizers are primarily divided into two types: Disc Blade Pulverizers and Grinding Disc Pulverizers.
Disc Blade Pulverizers, also known as Turbo Pulverizers, feature a turbo-style internal design. The grinding chamber houses a high-speed rotating disc with blades, similar to fan blades, surrounded by a stationary ring of toothed cutters. Material inside the chamber is propelled by the rotating disc, undergoing collision, friction, and compression between the rotating and stationary blades until it is pulverized into powder. Disc Blade Pulverizers are suitable for brittle materials such as SPC stone-plastic flooring, WPC wood-plastic composites, PVC products, PS extruded boards, aluminum-plastic panels, and other plastics or plastic composites.
Grinding Disc Pulverizers feature a grinding chamber consisting of two opposing discs with interlocking teeth. One disc remains stationary (the fixed disc), while the other rotates at high speed (the rotating disc). The teeth on the two discs are oriented in opposite directions. Plastic pellets enter between the discs from the center of the fixed disc. Under the high-speed shearing action of the disc teeth, they are rapidly reduced to fine powder, which is then drawn out through the gap between the discs and sieved by a vibrating screen into particles of various fineness levels. Grinding Disc Pulverizers are suitable for materials such as Polyethylene (PE), Polypropylene (PP), Polystyrene (PS), and ABS.
-
Easy installation and maintenance; cleaning is possible simply by opening the door cover.
-
Fully enclosed grinding process significantly reduces dust leakage.
-
Fully automated operation, including automatic feeding, discharging, and classification.
-
Simple adjustment of the grinding gap using only a feeler gauge and adjustment bolts.
-
The main unit’s cooling system utilizes a combination of air and water cooling.
-
Rational design with a relatively small grinding chamber cross-section. Material is immediately captured, finely ground, and quickly discharged upon entry, preventing temperature rise and decomposition, thereby achieving higher output.
-
New structural design for the main unit, featuring stainless steel piping and a stainless steel cyclone separator.
-
Automatic feeding, classification, and discharging; coarse material automatically returns for re-grinding.
-
Easy installation and maintenance; cleaning is possible simply by opening the door cover.
-
High output, low energy consumption, and no dust pollution.
-
Adjustable powder fineness ranging from 10 to 120 mesh, with a simple adjustment process.
-
The plastic pulverizer’s cooling system employs dual air and water cooling.
-
New blade structure increases output and overcomes issues of blade wear.
-
New bearing design and installation prolongs machine life.
